UCT School of Design Thinking

A contemporary glass atrium that enhances collaboration through natural light and open architectural flow.

About The Project

The UCT School of Design Thinking is anchored by a contemporary glass atrium formed through an elegant gridshell structure, which shapes a light-filled, expressive central “Us” space comprising of the atrium and roofed courtyard beyond the building. Covering 830m², the atrium acts as a central hub for interaction and creativity, forming a striking spatial focal point within the building. Completed in May 2022, the project was designed by KMH Architects.
